- Jeremy previously founded Engenie (now Osprey Charging), an EV charging business which realised a £35m equity investment in 2019 achieving an 8x multiple return for early investors. His engineering career spans 20 years using and delivering smart technology solutions within the design, development and construction of large-scale multi-disciplinary projects. Jeremy leads the team at Exagen, balancing his technical, corporate finance and commercial experience in building the group into a sustainable high-growth venture.
- David brings a track record in project finance and a wealth of debt placement capabilities to the team. He’s a former MD of M&G Investments’ Project and Infrastructure Finance team. At M&G he originated, structured and executed private senior and mezzanine debt across the energy and infrastructure sectors and supported the fund managers of a c.£45bn infrastructure debt portfolio, the largest of any lender globally. David is a CFA Charterholder and a member of CPA Australia.
- Harry is currently the founder and CEO of Longspur Capital, a specialist clean energy investment business. Prior to Longspur, Harry founded Temporis Wind a renewable energy development and investment business in wind, solar, hydro and bioenergy. Harry built the largest independent feed-in-tariff wind business in the UK and invested in renewable energy assets with a capital value >£400m over the last 10 years. Previously, Harry gained 12 years investment banking experience in London and New York.
- Bill has over 25 years senior leadership experience in the international energy industry. Prior to joining Exagen, Bill was Head of Finance at Cubico Sustainable Investments Ltd where he was a member of the Investment, Risk and Treasury Committees. He has held various senior finance roles with BG Group, Salamander Energy and Canadian Natural Resources, based in the UK and overseas. Bill studied Accounting and Finance at UWE, Bristol and is a qualified accountant (FCCA).
- Guy is a highly experienced renewable energy and infrastructure-focused finance professional and Chartered Accountant (ACA). His previous roles include: Chief Financial Officer (Gravitricity), Fund Manager (Ingenious), Corporate/Project Financier (Evercore, Barclays, Citi), Accountant (PWC).
- Simon has enjoyed a 25-year career in the distressed corporate markets as a hands-on Business Administrator and Investor/Lender. He has a wealth of experience across many industrial sectors, helping debt and equity stakeholders through intense episodes of change to save, stabilise or build value. Simon is a Chartered Accountant (qualified with Deloitte).
- Stephen has been working in the Information Management arena for more than 25 years, supporting digital transformation and data standards across a range of technology platforms. Helping teams leverage, integrate and streamline data to drive commercial decisions and maximise performance. He has worked in many sectors of the construction industry supporting the delivery of large scale commercial and infrastructure projects around the globe.
- Emma is an experienced finance professional and a qualified accountant (FCCA) with over 20 years of practice and consulting experience. She has spent the last 15 years at EY, specialising in building and reviewing complex financial models, with a focus on the power and utilities sector, particularly renewables. Her experience spans a broad range of activities including raising capital, refinancing, supporting M&A transactions, strategic options analysis, and operational monitoring.
- Chris joined Octopus Renewables as an investment director in 2015. He is a long-standing member of the Octopus Renewables investment committee and a director of several Octopus Renewables wind and solar special purpose vehicles . Chris originated and led one of the largest wind farm portfolio acquisitions in the UK valued at c.£320 million. He now focuses on the originating acquisition opportunities and fundraising, as well as looking for strategic investments in related sectors. Prior to joining Octopus, Chris worked in business development at Falck Renewables where he had a range of roles, including in M&A and leading greenfield development in France and Poland. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Sydney.
- Philip has over 15 years national and international Marketing and Brand experience gained with brands including Samsung, Sony, Adidas, L’Oréal and LG Electronics. His Renewables expertise has been acquired through roles at E.ON where he was based at the brands headquarters in Germany and responsible for developing and implementing the renewables global Go-To-Market strategy and with SSE Energy Solutions where as Head of Marketing he was responsible for developing the Brand and Marketing plans for both Distributed Energy infrastructure solutions across EV, Heat, Smart Cities & Places and behind the meter Solar and Battery storage as well as utility scale Solar & Battery storage projects.

- Mark has spent 20 years in land development and has extensive experience of identifying, designing, consenting and delivering successful land development projects, including wind, solar, energy storage and thermal. He previously worked at Banks Renewables for 18 years holding various roles in development, technical design and construction project management across multiple asset classes. He holds a HNC Electrical & Electronic Engineering, BA (Hons), Industrial Design from Teesside University.
- Milena is a highly experienced, passionate geospatial professional, who thrives on finding solutions to complex analytical and technical problems.
Always looking for the next innovative way to use digital platforms to create clear strategic vision, to share information and to facilitate collaboration that supports organisational goals. Milena has developed digital solutions for a number of large-scale projects such as CrossRail, HS2 and worked across a variety of geospatial projects including, traffic, construction, utilities, ecology, crime analysis and mapping.
Her motto is “Every successful project requires teamwork, creativity and innovation.”
- Andrew has 17 years planning and environmental assessment experience, nearly 12 of which have been in renewable energy consenting at Arcus. Managing more than 130 planning applications for almost 5 GW of solar, wind, battery storage, grid management and gas peaking projects combined, Andrew works closely with key stakeholders during the planning process to manage risks and deliver a high project consent rate. He holds a MSc in EIA, Environmental Auditing and Management Systems and is an IEMA Registered EIA Practitioner.
- Edward has worked in the energy sector since 2008 with project assets including waste to energy, gas peakers, solar and storage. Throughout his career, Edward has sourced and managed a pipeline of several hundred megawatts focusing on capacity market contracts and more recently subsidy free solar developments. He joined the team in September 2021 and will be working alongside clients throughout the development process, managing sites from inception to completion.
- Hugo is a Project Development Coordinator, working as part of the Exagen team to deliver utility scale renewable energy projects. He entered the renewables space after completing his BEng in Civil Engineering at the University of Exeter. Hugo is hugely motivated to help the UK achieve its net zero carbon goal.
- As a Project Development Coordinator with Exagen Development, Flavia is part of the team that develops utility scale renewable energy projects, from initial conception right through to final completion. She completed her BASc: Science and Engineering degree at UCL in London, UK and UCF in Freiburg, Germany.
- An experienced Geospatial Information Systems Analyst, for over 7 years Mostafa has worked and conducted research in the field of solar energy potential mapping on large and small scales, using geospatial tools and methods.
- Helen is a chartered town planner with over 16 years experience across the private and public sector. Most Recently as a planning consultant Helen helped to deliver planning consent across a range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial and waste applications. She holds an MSc in Town Planning and is a member of the RTPI.

While working at Aston Martin, Matthew utilised his passion for sustainability within their procurement department and is enthusiastic to work towards the UK's net zero targets at Exagen.
- As a Senior Programme Manager at Exagen, Jonathan works closely with the Delivery Team to realise all aspects of the development and construction programme, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, resourcing, risk and benefits management. Jonathan has over 10 years experience managing and delivering programmes and projects, across highways engineering, commercial, industrial and leisure development, and healthcare and energy sectors. He is a chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) and member of the Association for Project Management (APM).
- As Business Development Support, Tom is part of the Exagen Origination team who are responsible for site selection and planning. Tom has a background in communications and marketing consulting for organisations across the renewable energy sector. In 2019 he graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Geography.
- Becca is a Project Planning Coordinator within the Development Team, overseeing all planning aspects of projects, working closely with subconsultants, communities and other key stakeholders and managing environmental constraints in the design process to ensure the successful delivery of our portfolio of renewable energy projects. Becca has previously worked at Arcus where she managed the planning applications for 30 solar farms, 4 wind farms and a large BESS application. She holds both an MSc in Environmental Science and Management and BSc in Environmental Geography.
- As Project Development Coordinator, Adam makes use of his early-career planning and environmental experience, and a BA in Human Geography and Environment (with a year in Industry) to help expand Exagen’s portfolio of renewables and energy projects. Adam is keen to develop high-quality projects from inception to construction, helping to push the UK’s electricity system towards a renewable future.
- As Community Engagement Officer, Sam is responsible for local community engagement planning, ensuring that communities are kept up to date with project progress and seeking opportunities for Exagen to support local community groups. Sam has a background in community engagement and land acquisition in Telecoms and is thrilled to have moved into the renewables sector.
- Andrew brings more than 14 years’ experience in senior FP&A roles across renewable energy technologies. His broad experience covers all aspects of FP&A and commercial financial management for energy assets. He was part of the senior finance team at Low Carbon where he was a member of the Risk and Valuation committees. Prior to this he worked at the AES Corporation in the Europe finance hub. He qualified as a CIMA accountant whilst at Aviva Plc in London and Madrid. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Management from the University of Southampton.
- Cat is a creative professional with extensive experience in brand identity, strategic sales and marketing design. She has held senior creative roles in boutique studios and multi national corporate companies, EY & Compass Group. At Exagen, Cat is responsible for the creative direction of all company assets as well as the growth and development of the visual brand.
- Sophie has worked in operations management and business planning and improvement across a variety of industries and sectors. She started her career in print and circulation for Guardian newspapers where she worked for over ten years and, more recently, has worked for Obelisk Legal support and the NSPCC.
- Pierce is an experienced auditor & qualified accountant (ACA). He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2018 having studied BSc Joint Hons Economics & Accounting. Pierce trained and specialised in the provision of advisory services to growing SMEs & charities.
