Our approach
Our philosophy is to work closely with landowners, local communities, grid network operators, planning specialists and other local stakeholders to identify and progress the most viable projects.
We are focused on building long-term relationships with the communities in which we are based, centered on responsible stewardship of the environment and helping local biodiversity flourish.
Our activities
Exagen’s UK-wide renewable energy projects will transform the energy sector. Through the experience of our team, and close partnerships with farmers, landowners, and communities, we are building biodiversity-boosting projects that tackle the triple threat of energy security, fuel poverty, and the climate emergency.
Our pipeline projects include large grid scale battery storage (with projects up to 500MW/1GWh), and solar projects (typically in the range of 25-49.9MW), often co-located with battery storage. Over their whole lifecycles, our projects will deliver significant grid stability and clean renewable generation at critical locations on the electricity grid network, while also striving to boost biodiversity by more than 20% across our whole portfolio, and creating long-lasting legacies for the communities in which they are located.
